Thomas was born in 1783 in Stone, Staffordshire, UK.  Thomas' father is John BOX and his mother is Fanny JOHNSTON.  His paternal grandfather was Thomas BOX and his paternal grandmother is Ann SWINDALL. He had two brothers and a sister, named William, Joseph and Mary.  He was the third oldest of the four children.  He died at the age of 71 on January 20th, 1854.
