Iancu Ioachimescu

Iancu was born on September 26th, 1894 and his christening was conducted by priest . Iancu's father was Stefan Ioachimescu and his mother was Alexandrina Popovici Ioachimescu. His paternal grandparents were Nicolae Ioachimescu and Maria Ioachimescu; his maternal grandparents were Constantin Popovici and Pauna Popovici. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Ilie, Nicu, Margareta, Elisabeta, Ona and Titi. He was the fourth oldest of the seven children. He died due to a medical problem at the age of 67 on December 3rd, 1961. His body was entombed in Bucuresti.

General Notes
- Glumeţ şi vesel. Odată, la Mizil, în vizită la Ionel şi Victoria Popovici, a venit din grădina de zarzavat cu un "buchet" de ridichi la butonieră. A rămas văduv în timpul războiului şi nu s-a recăsătorit. După venirea comuniştilor nu a avut de suferit din partea autorităţilor, dar a devenit foarte trist şi retras.
  A publicat la Dimineaţa şi Universul.
