Alexandrina was born in 1869 in Mizil and her christening was conducted by priest .  Alexandrina's father was Constantin Popovici and her mother was Pauna Popovici.  Her paternal grandparents were Dumitru Popovici and Smaranda Popovici; her maternal grandparents were Dumitru Manciulescu and Ana Manciulescu. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Stefan (Fanica), Costica, Nicolae (Niculaita), Ionel, Norica, Maria (Marioara) and Tina.  She died due to natural causes or old age at the age of 89 on January 15th, 1958 in Bucuresti.  Her body was entombed in Bucuresti.
