Atena was born on May 22nd, 1914 and her christening was conducted by priest . Atena's father was Ilie Ioachimescu and her mother was Rahila (Fili) Sedlitzchi Ioachimescu. Her paternal grandparents were Stefan Ioachimescu and Alexandrina Popovici Ioachimescu. She had four sisters named Mili, Alexandrina (Dida), Anisoara(Coca) and Rora. Atena and Alexandrina (Dida) were identical twins. She died at the age of 67 on September 3rd, 1981. Her body was entombed.
