Susan Henwood

Susan was born on January 22nd, 1878 in Horton Township Kings Co Nova Scotia Canada.¹ Susan's father was Jerry and her mother was Mary Alice Crowell. Her paternal grandparents were Stephen Henwood and Mary Skidmore. She had four brothers and eleven sisters, named Charles, James Thomas, George Arthur, Ernest R., Carolina Amelia, Margaret Ann, Sarah G., Harriet Mable, Mary Alice, Alwilda Mae, Alice Amanda, Emily Louisa, Florence Matilda, Gladys L. and Lillian. She was the nineth oldest of the sixteen children. She had a half-sister named Sarah O.. She died at the age of 57 in 1935.¹
