    Alwilder Henwood age 4 which would place her birth year as 1877 depending on the birth date and the timing of the census.

    Mrs. Alwilda Mae Pinch of West Brooklyn passed away at her home February 22 at the age of 76. She had been ill for some week.
    Born in Hortonville, King's County, she was a daughter of Jerry & Mary Henwood, and her life was spent in homemaking.
    She was a member of the  West Brooklyn United Church. She is survived by two daughters: Mary, Mrs. Thomas Pinch, Wallbrook and
    Ida, Mrs. John Morine, Wolfville, three sons: Charles, Harding and Henry of West Brooklyn; three brothers: Arthur & James in California; Ernest, West Brooklyn, also two sisters: Maggie, Mrs. Fred Pinch, West Brooklyn and Lily, Mrs. James Best, Wallbrook, and 10 grandchildren.
    Her husband passed away in 1936.
    The funeral service was held on Saturday  afternoon from the West Brooklyn  Baptist Church conducted by Rev. A. M.  MacIntosh. The hymns sung by the  choir were: Lead Kindly Light; Good  Night, Good Morning; and  Abide with Me. Pallbearers: Alfred, Albert &  Edward Pinch, Edward Fitzgerald.
    Internment in West Brooklyn Cemetery.
    
    2nd. Obituary Paper not identified Wolfville, February 28, Alwilla May Pinch passed away at her home, Wallbrook, this morning  following several days illness. Born in Horton Landing 76 years ago, she  was a daughter Gerald [ Ella Crowell] Henwood.
    She attended school in  Horton Landing and in 1902 married David Pinch and has resided in  Wallbrook ever since.
    Her husband predeceased her 31 years ago. Left to  mourn her passing are three sons: Charles, Harding and Henry of West  Brooklyn;
    two daughters: Mary, Mrs. Thomas Pinch of Wallbrook Mountain and Ida, Mrs. John Morine of Wolfville; two sisters: Maggie, Mrs. Fred  Pinch, West Brooklyn and Lillian, Mrs. Joe Best, Wallbrook; three  brothers: Ernest Hemwood {As spelled in the paper} of West Brooklyn,  James & Arthur of California; twelve grandchildren also survive.

    In "The History of Elijah Henwood & His Descendants" by Ed Myles & Edna Best says Alwilda "married" John Bert Pinch about 1918.
    The book claims that Ida Blanche, Harding and Henry were children of John Bert but descendant Beatrice Pinch says that's not so, as far as she was aware the children all belonged to David.  The marriage dates would support this. According to the obituary above...who did she marry in 1902?  Her husband, David didn't die till 1918 and John Bert was her second "marriage" from what I understand.....with the marriage to Burton following......but must be Burton the second relationship and John 'Bert' the third......that would be in keeping with the obituary for Ida Blanche Pinch Morine where Burton is named as her father.
