William Greene

William was born in 1732 in West Greenwich, Kent, Rhode Island, USA.¹ William's mother was Mary Aylesworth. His maternal grandparents were Arthur Aylesworth and Mary Brown. He had nine brothers and four sisters, named Philip, Josiah, Joshua, Amos, Benjamin, Caleb, Joseph, Jonathan, Thomas, Mary, Elizabeth, Ruth and Elizabeth. He was the thirteenth oldest of the fourteen children. He died at the age of 58 in 1790 in Voluntown, New London, Connecticut, USA.¹
