William Fountaine Gerholdt

William Fountaine was born on October 25th, 1893.  William Fountaine's father was George Washington Gerholdt and his mother was Vilena Lafary.  His paternal grandparents were Johann (Frederick) Friedrich Gerholdt and Elanor (Ellen) Drake (Droke?). He had two brothers and five sisters, named John, Morris Walter, Stella Isabel, Artie (Mae) Mae, Glenna (Esther) Esther, Mary Ann and Inez.  He was the second oldest of the eight children.  He died at the age of 86 on March 25th, 1980.
