John Gerholdt
John was born in 1892. John's father was George Washington Gerholdt and his mother was Vilena Lafary. His paternal grandparents were Johann (Frederick) Friedrich Gerholdt and Elanor (Ellen) Drake (Droke?). He had two brothers and five sisters, named William Fountaine, Morris Walter, Stella Isabel, Artie (Mae) Mae, Glenna (Esther) Esther, Mary Ann and Inez. He was the oldest of the eight children.
