Josef Antonín was born in 1733.  Josef Antonín's father was Jan Nepomuk Mitrovský z Nemyšle and his mother was Marie Kazimíra Blankovská z Dorušic.  His paternal grandparents were Arnošt Matyáš Mitrovský z Nemyšle and Marie Terezie Lehocká. He had two brothers named Antonín Benjamin and Karel.  He was the oldest of the three children.  He died at the age of 75 in 1808.
