Revathi Krishna was born in 1966.  Revathi Krishna's father is Madan Gopal C and her mother was Indira Devi (Sajjala).  Her maternal grandparents were Bhavanarayana  Rao Sajjala and Alivelumanga Thayaramma (Naraala) Sajjala. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Ramesh, Suresh, Hyma, Vijayalakshmi and Gyaneashwari.  She is the fifth oldest of the six children.
