Margaret, known as Marguerite, was born in 1899 in Ballinagard.1  Marguerite's father was Thomas Larkin and her mother was Annie Kelly.  Her paternal grandparents were John Larkin and Margaret Connor. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Jack, William, Michael, Tommie, May, Eileen and Katie.  She died at the age of 17 in 1916.
