Thomas de Vere (8th Earl of Oxford)

Thomas was born in 1336. Thomas' father was John de Vere (7th Earl of Oxford) and his mother was Maud de Badlesmere. His paternal grandparents were Sir Alphonse de Vere and Jane Foliot; his maternal grandparents were Bartholomew de Badlesmere (1st Baron) and Margaret de Clare. He had a brother named Aubrey. He was the older of the two children. He died at the age of 35 in 1371.
