Gilbert de Clare (5th Earl of Gloucester)

Gilbert was born in 1180. Gilbert's father was Richard de Clare (3rd Earl of Hertford) and his mother was Amice FitzWilliam. His paternal grandparents were Roger de Clare (2nd Earl of Hertford) and Maud de St. Hilary. He was an only child. He died at the age of 50 in 1230.
