Louis X, known as The Quarreller, was born in 1289.  The Quarreller's father was Philip IV “The Fair” (King of France) and his mother was Joan I of Navarre.  His paternal grandparents were Philip III “The Bold” (King of France) and Isabella of Aragon. He had two brothers and a sister, named The Tall, The Fair and Isabella.  He was the oldest of the four children.  He died at the age of 27 in 1316.
