John of Lancaster (1st Duke Of Bedford)

John was born on June 20th, 1389. John's father was Henry IV (King of England) and his mother was Mary de Bohun. His paternal grandparents were John of Gaunt (Duke of Lancaster) and Blanche of Lancaster; his maternal grandparents were Humphrey VIII de Bohun (7th Earl of Hereford) and Joan FitzAlan. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Thomas, Henry V, Humphrey, Blanche and Philippa. He was the third oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 46 on September 14th, 1435.
