George (Duke of Kent) 
George was born in 1902. George's father was George V (King of the UK) and his mother was Mary of Teck. His paternal grandparents were Edward VII (King of the UK) and Alexandra of Denmark. He had four brothers and a sister, named Edward VIII, George VI, Henry, John and Mary. He was the second youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 40 in 1942.General Notes
