Garcia II (King of Galicia and Portugal) 
Garcia II was born in 1042. Garcia II's father was Ferdinand I (King of Castile & Leon) and his mother was Sancha of Leon. His paternal grandparents were Sancho III (King of Navarre) and Mayor of Castile; his maternal grandparents were Alfonso V (King of Leon) and Elvira Menéndez. He had two brothers named Sancho II and Afonso VI. He was the youngest of the three known children. He died at the age of 48 on March 22nd, 1090.-
