García I (King of Leon) 
García I was born in 0871. García I's father was Alfonso III (King of Leon, Galacia, Asturias) and his mother was Elvira Menéndez. His paternal grandparents were Ordoño I (King of Asturias) and Muniadona. He had two brothers named Ordoño II and Fruela II. He was the oldest of the three children. He died at the age of 43 in 0914.
