Bermudo I was born in 0750.  Bermudo I's father was Fruela of Cantabria.  His paternal grandparents were Freula I (King of Asturias) and Munia. He had a brother named Aurelius.  He was the younger of the two children.  He died at the age of 47 in 0797.
