Thomas Beaufort (Duke of Exeter) 
Thomas was born in 1377. Thomas' father was John of Gaunt (Duke of Lancaster) and his mother was Catherine de Roet (Lady Swynford). His paternal grandparents were Edward III Plantagenet (King of England) and Philippa of Hainault; his maternal grandfather was Paon de Roet. He had a brother and a sister, named John and Joan. He was the second oldest of the three children. He had a half-brother and three half-sisters, named Henry IV, Philippa, Elizabeth and Catherine. He died at the age of 49 in 1426.General Notes
