Rose was born on November 1st, 1917 in Johannesburg.  Rose's father was Samuel Naftaly Hertz Sandler and her mother was Annie (Annie ) Leah Katz.  Her paternal grandparents were Aaron Sandler and Sarah; her maternal grandfather was Joseph Katz and her maternal grandmother is <Unknown>. She had three brothers named Robert, Louis and Albert.  She was the youngest of the four children.  She died at the age of 94 on May 3rd, 2012 in Houston.  The funeral took place on May 4th, 2012.  She was buried on May 4th, 2012 at the Beth Jacob Cemetery.
