Thomas Welsby

Thomas was born in June 1852 in Bolton and his baptism took place on May 30th, 1852 at St. Peter's (Bolton).¹²

Thomas' father was Walter Welsby and his mother was Maria Bolton. His maternal grandparents were Thomas Bolton and Mary Whitaker. He had a brother and four sisters, named Josiah, Elizabeth, Mary, Ann and Ann. He was the fourth oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 8 in May 1861 in Bolton. His burial was in May 1861 at Tonge-with-Haulgh Cemetery.³⁴

- In 1861, Thomas (8) was with his parents Waleter and maria at Christchurch, Bolton.
  
  Thomas can't be found in 1871 (not with mother) and 1881. He probably died Q2 1861, aged 9.
  
  In 1891, Thomas (38) was a general labourer at 7 Hulme Street, Little Bolton, lodging with William and Mabel Parkinson (23 & 22), nee Wade, and their family. This is probably another.
