George Tate

George was born on October 26th, 1812 in Newsome and his baptism took place on November 15th, 1812 in Almondbury.¹²

Birth Notes

George's father was William Tate and his mother was Susannah Stocks. His maternal grandparents were George Stocks and Mary Blackburn. He had a sister named Rebecca. He was the older of the two children. He had two half-sisters named Mary and Sarah. He died at the age of 41 in October 1853 in Berry Brow. He was buried on October 9th, 1853 in Armitage Bridge.³
