Elizabeth was born in 1738 in Berry Brow and her christening took place on September 27th, 1739 in Almondbury.1 2  Elizabeth's father was George Parkin and her mother was Susana (Hanah) Gleadhill .  Her paternal grandparents were George Parkin and Susanna Harrison. She had a brother named William.  She was the older of the two children.  She died at the age of 81 in August 1819 in Taylor Hill.  She was buried on August 26th, 1819 in Almondbury.3 3
