George was born in December 1925 in Manchester.¹

Birth Notes

George's father was Nathan Shaw Miller and his mother was Louisa Alice Brackenridge. His paternal grandparents were James Bradley Miller and Emma (Emly) Aspinall Bolton. He had three sisters named Muriel, Emily and Vera. He was the second oldest of the four children. He had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Herbert, Edward, Elsie and Dora. He died at the age of 62 in 1987.
