WARNING: There is another BOLTON+ASPINALL family from Mellor, Preston. They had a daughter Elizabeth there in 1840, and Andrew Bolton (1842-1850). Since Andrew died there in 1850, it can't be the same family.
In 1841, Richard and Mary (30 & 25) were in East Bolton with Ann and Thomas (4 & 1). Three families were neighbours.
In 1871, Thomas Banks (42) and Richard Bolton (61) were lodgers with Josiah & Ellen Welsby, and his mother Maria.
In 1881, Richard Bolton (70), and Emily Bolton (29) were living with Thomas and Mary Brierley and family.
