William Mather

William was born in June 1861 in Bolton.¹

William's father was David Mather and his mother was Esther Heaton. His paternal grandparents were John Mather and Alice Gore. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Richard, Alfred, William, Joseph, Ann and Sarah. He was the fifth oldest of the seven children. He died at 9 months old in March 1862 in Bolton.²
