2 June 1867, Sarah Hulton (widow) married Samuel Mather, a carter.
In 1871, Samuel and Sarah (35 & 34) were in Tonge with Haulgh with Eliza Hulton (10) and Alice Mather (3).
In 1881, Samuel and Sarah (45 & 44) had Eliza Hulton (13), Alice (13), Samuel (90, Mary (6) and William L (4).
