Peter Mather

Peter was born in September 1857 in Little Bolton and his baptism took place on March 14th, 1858 at St. Peter's (Bolton).¹²

Peter's father was Thomas Mather and his mother was Mary Ramsden. His paternal grandparents were John Mather and Ann Brabin. He had two brothers and a sister, named William, John and Sarah. He was the youngest of the four children. He had a half-brother and three half-sisters, named John, Fanny, Mary and Harriet. He died at the age of 29 in December 1886 in Halliwell. His burial was on December 14th, 1886 in Bolton.³
