Moses Mather

Moses was born in 1833 in Middleton and his baptism took place on March 10th, 1833 at St. Leonard (Middleton).¹²

Moses' father was Richard Mather and his mother was Sarah (Sally) Stewart. His paternal grandparents were James Mather and Alice Collinge. He had five brothers and a sister, named James, John, Richard, William, Luke and Ann. He was the youngest of the seven children. He died at the age of 55 in March 1888 in Middleton.³
