Martha Jane Mather

Martha was born on May 24th, 1846 in Elton.¹

Birth Notes

Martha's father was Solomon Mather and her mother was Jane Scowcroft. Her paternal grandparents were Solomon Mather and Mary (Mally) Grime. She had a brother and seven sisters, named Samuel, Elizabeth, Mary, Alice, Nancy, Margaret, Mary and Rachel. She was the fifth oldest of the nine children. She died at the age of 58 on October 4th, 1904 in Bury. She was buried at All Saints (Elton).²
