Martha Mather

Martha was born on May 24th, 1868 in Bolton.¹

Martha's father was John Mather and her mother was Martha Jordan. Her paternal grandparents were James Mather and Mary Wood. She had six brothers and five sisters, named James, Samuel, William, Robert, Thomas, John, Mary, Betsy, Ellen, Hannah and Hannah. She was the eleventh oldest of the twelve children. She died at the age of 72 in September 1940 in Farnworth.²
