  Not the Mary Jane Mather bap. Feb 1847, dau of Thos and Ellen.

Mary's father was John Mather and her mother was Martha Jordan. Her paternal grandparents were James Mather and Mary Wood. She had six brothers and five sisters, named James, Samuel, William, Robert, Thomas, John, Betsy, Ellen, Hannah, Hannah and Martha. She was the oldest of the twelve children.

- Possibly died in Manchester in 1931, aged 82
