Lettice Mather

Lettice was born in January 1753 in Halliwell and her baptism took place on February 1st, 1753 at St. Mary (Deane).¹

Lettice's father was John Mather and her mother was Mary Meadowcroft. She had four brothers and three sisters, named John, Richard, John, Jeffery, Mary, Alice and Martha. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Jeffery and Betty.  She died at the age of 48 in March 1801 in Heapey.  She was buried on April 1st, 1801 at St. Peter's (Bolton).²
