Henry Mather

Henry was born on December 10th, 1817 in Walmersley and his baptism took place on February 22nd, 1818 in Heaton Norris.¹²

Henry's father was Robert Mather and his mother was Margaret Robinson. He had three brothers and six sisters, named John, Joseph, William, Ann, Sarah, Mary, Elizabeth, Esther and Margaret. He was the fifth youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 57 in July 1875 in Bolton. He was buried on July 27th, 1875 in Astley Bridge.³⁴
