Elizabeth Mather

Elizabeth's father was William Mather and her mother was Hannah (Ann) Wolfendale. Her paternal grandparents were Robert Mather and Elizabeth (Betty) Hardman. She had four brothers and six sisters, named John, Hugh, William, James, Mary, Mary, Sarah, Ann, Catherine and Hannah. She was the fifth oldest of the eleven children.

- In 1861, Elizabeth (13), was with parents William a brick maker and Ann at Spring Gardens, Farnworth.
  
  In Q4 1866 Elizabeth married Young Matthews (Bolton RO).
  
  In 1871, Elizabeth Mather (23, married) was back with her parents at Queen Street, Farnworth.
