Henry Lomax

Henry was born in 1833 in Breightmet and his baptism took place on January 27th, 1833 at St. Peter's (Bolton).¹

Henry's father was James Lomax and his mother was Betty Mather. His paternal grandparents were Richard Lomax and Mary Kenyon; his maternal grandparents were John Mather and Ann Brabin. He had five brothers and a sister, named Richard, John, James, Thomas, James and Mary. He was the third oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 22 in 1855 in Tonge-with-Haulgh.²

- 26 July 1852, Henry married Alice Greenhalgh, an illegitimate daughter from Tonge.
