Jane Hurst 
Jane was born in 1843 in Stalybridge.1 Jane's father was Thomas Hurst and her mother was Ann Brereton. Her maternal grandparents were Thomas Bruerton and Ann Vicars. She had a brother and three sisters, named James, Sarah, Hannah and Elizabeth. She was the second oldest of the five known children.-
