There was a baptism for Richard son of Peter in April 1632. This Richard must have died, as another baptism for Richard followed, 5 Nov 1636.
Richard was the second son of Peter Howarth of Blackburn and (with James) was one on the executors of his father's Will.
At Richard's death in 1694 is property was divided between his sons Thomas and John. This included a property called "The Hill" in Lower Darwen.
Richard and Ellen were married in a religious ceremony about 1655 in Blackburn. They had three sons named Thomas, Joseph and John.
