William was the son of Henry Holt and Mary Lord Mather, born at West Breightmet Hill.
In 1865, William's father Henry died and in 1866 his mother remarried John Bailey. Only Nancy was with her in 1871, and it appears William may have died.
Q1 1865, William Henry Holt died, aged 4. Both birth and death were registered at the Tonge-with-Haulgh office.
