Arthur was born on September 26th, 1925 in Halliwell and his baptism took place on October 22nd, 1925 at All Souls (L.B.).¹²

Birth Notes

Arthur's father was Ernest Holt and his mother was Adeline Nelson. His maternal grandparents were William Nelson and Clara Ann Mather. He had a sister named Jessie. He was the older of the two children. He died at the age of 94 on February 15th, 2020 in Leyland.³
