Salias was Jeff Buckley's Grandfather, source of some of this Buckley family history. Jeff''s father was Fred.
Silas worked in a shipping office in Manchester, then sewing machine mechanic at Jones’s, Guide Bridge, Audenshaw.
In 1921 Silia and Hannah were at Audenshaw with Mary, Annie and Frank.

Occupancy/Contact Notes
Benjamin, Patience and Martha Bucklet living at Giude Lane, in the village of Hooley Hill in 1851.
Still there in 1861 with larger family, but by now it is called Guide Road.
The whole family (all sons and daughters) are still there in 1871, now called Guide Lane again.
In 1881, the house number is also recorded (as 42). Only Patiens and the 4 youngest children, Ellen, Edith, Bertrice, and Silas remain.
