John Booth

John was born in June 1836 in Bolton and his baptism took place on June 28th, 1836 at St. Peter's (Bolton).¹²

John's father was William Booth and his mother was Jane Rostron. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Booth and Alice Scowcroft; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Rostron and Mary Holt. He had four brothers and three sisters, named James, Thomas, Richard, William, Mary, Alice and Elizabeth. He was the fourth oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 70 on March 18th, 1907 in Provo. His burial was in March 1907 in Provo.³
