Jane Rostron

Jane was born in February 1807 in Bolton and her baptism took place on February 8th, 1807 at St. Peter's (Bolton).¹²

Jane's father was Thomas Rostron and her mother was Mary Holt. Her maternal grandparents were Edmund Holt and Ellen Hamers. She had three brothers named John, James and William. She was the youngest of the four children. She died at the age of 61 in June 1868 in Bolton. She was buried in June 1868 at Tonge-with-Haulgh Cemetery.³⁴
