Johann Gerdes Trauernicht

Johann was born on June 12th, 1738 in Strackholt, Aurich, Lower Saxony, Germany. Johann's father was Gerd Janshen Gerdes and his mother was Marya Janshen Trauernicht. His maternal grandparents were Johann Trauernicht and Marya Barthels. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Gerd, Gerd, Gerd, Frerich, Gese, Christina, Christine, Marie and Anne. He was the oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 63 on February 1st, 1802.
