Marie Gerdes Trauernicht

Marie was born on November 22nd, 1753 in Strackholt, Aurich, Lower Saxony, Germany.¹ Marie's father was Gerd Janshen Gerdes and her mother was Marya Janshen Trauernicht. Her maternal grandparents were Johann Trauernicht and Marya Barthels. She had five brothers and four sisters, named Johann, Gerd, Gerd, Gerd, Frerich, Gese, Christina, Christine and Anne. She was the second youngest of the ten children. She died at the age of 34 on March 14th, 1788 in Felde, Aurich, Lower Saxony, Germany.¹
