Urias E. Straight 
Urias E. was born on October 22nd, 1814 in Virginia, USA.1 Urias E.'s father was Jacob K. Straight and his mother was Permelia Shuman. His paternal grandmother is Elizabeth; his maternal grandparents were Henry Shuman and Sarah Temple Kendall. He had six brothers and four sisters, named Gabriel, Levi J, William Milton, Alpheus Riley, James Acie, Henry Newton, Permelia, Cyrenna, Elizabeth Ann and Mary Ellen. He was the third oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 85 on February 15th, 1900 in Page County, Iowa, USA. He was buried in Walnut Cemetery.2 2 -
