Straight and Diana Hayes; her maternal grandparents were William Harvey McLain and Lydia Antoinette Whitcomb. She had five brothers and six sisters, named Clifford Ferris, Walter, Horace Arthur, Harry Theodore, Wilford H, Alma, Violet Diana, Ada Luella, Nora Leota, Gladys E. and Lella A. She died at the age of 96 on June 30th, 1993 in Nebraska, USA. She was buried in Greenwood Cemetery (Nebraska).-
