Mary Anne was born in March 1862 in Alabama, USA.1   Mary Anne's father was Moses Sanders and her mother was Caroline Reed.  Her paternal grandparents are James Sanders and Louisa R. Coleman; her maternal grandparents are Absalom Reed and Mary A.. She had five brothers and three sisters, named James Martin, Elisha L., Moses Nathaniel, Albert Meranas, Wesley Andrew "Andy", Martha Paralee, Vicey and Serena Adline.  She was the fourth oldest of the nine children.  She died at the age of 82 on February 28th, 1945 in Cordova, Walker, Alabama, USA.  She was buried in Sardis Cemetery.1 1
